Straight from the Top!

Based on numbers just released by the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors comparing the first three quarters of 2011 to 2010, we experienced a pretty significant increase in units sold. For residential home homes the number of sales increased from 9,678 to 11,756, or 21.5%. Condo sales increased from 1,546 to 1,977, an increase of 27.9%, and townhomes increased from 996 to 1,369, and increase of 37.4%.

Even with an increase in sales and a reduction in inventory, we are still looking at ideal situations for first-time homebuyers, investors, retires moving to Florida and those looking for the perfect vacation home on the water. The low interest rates along with the depressed prices, make this an ideal market for buyers.
