Straight from the Top!

If you had to use one word to describe the Fishhawk Community, I think that word would be “Lifestyle”. This is active living at its best, with 25 miles of trails for foot or bike; you could go a different direction every day of the week. There are lots of neighborhood parks, and there are nice aquatic areas for the swimmers in the family situated so that you will always be within walking distance of one. With all the activity there, it makes it very easy to make new friends. In addition, everyone knows about the community-wide softball games at Hawk Park.

Fishhawk is located in Lithia, just south of the Brandon/River areas. It’s a fairly easy commute to Tampa and MacDill because of the access to the Interstate and expressway systems. It’s a 30 minute commute to MacDill Air Force Base and there is public transportation for those who would like to use it. That’s make it a very desirable area for our military members as well.

There are six top rated schools in the area, and wherever you live, you are sure to be within walking or biking distance of an excellent school. There are also a number of preschools for the families that have little ones. Fishhawk has some nice little shops and restaurants right there in the community.

Hundreds of acres of conservation area around the community make it a great place to take a walk and view the Florida wildlife. The trails were created to minimize the impact on existing plants and wildlife.

There a combination of new and resale townhomes and single family home is the community. Homes typically start in the low $100’s and go up to almost $2,000,000. Sections of the community are gated for additional privacy. There are approximately 14 new home builders in the Fishhawk community.
